Some say that walking alone through dark woods along an unknown path is akin to spending time searching through the depths of our own mind. This could be recognized as both a good experience and a bad one.
A man taking a long stroll in such a place would eventually lose himself in thought. Beyond the natural wonders that immediately surround and capture his interests lie ancient secrets and primal developments. As he walks the forest closes on him, absorbing his being and allowing his normally – dulled by city life – senses to open up and bloom. They reach past the treeline in every direction and scan for something different than what they acknowledged the last few moments. His instincts quietly determine what is of interest and what is not, alerting him instantly when something is out of place.
The mind too is a hazy frontier with powers beyond what we can truly acknowledge, but readily strive to understand.
